Kidz Church
Starting October an exciting new approach to our Children’s ministry. Kidz Church will be held during our normal 11 a.m. service and will be a vibrant, fun packed meeting for the children to enjoy.
Sunday Evenings
(6.30 service) – Teaching on Prayer
Each Sunday evening we will be including a short teaching session on Prayer during our Prayer and Praise Service. Prayer is powerful and we want to move deeper into our prayer life and get closer to God through our prayer.
Pais Team Worker
We are delighted to welcome Rachael who will be joining us at Caradoc for a year as part of the Pais Team. Rachael will be involved in our children’s work and outreach work in our local schools.
A new community project
was launched in Seaforth on the 16th February. Housed in the old Seaforth Post Office shop unit, the community project is a brand new venture. The shop offers quality used clothes and furniture items to members of the local community free of charge.
The initiative was started by Caradoc member Lynne Higgins, who felt God
was calling her to open up the shop as a means of blessing the community,
the philosophy being to offer people “a hand up rather than a hand out”.
Lynne has worked hard for months, rallying support and bringing the project
to life. Volunteer help from local residents transformed the shop premises.
The main aim of the project is to bless others out of the abundance of blessings
that we receive. The shop will be open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10 - 2pm.
The event was well attended by local people, a great deal of interest was shown with many people staying for refreshments and a chat! The local press was on hand to take photo’s, community support groups offered advice leaflets and fruit tasting sessions to promote healthy eating, and the local fire brigade offered fire safety advice and free smoke alarm fitting for local residents. A visit by the Rock FM multimedia bus gave the youngsters plenty to do as well!!!
